Provision of more Recycling Bins: The provision of more recycling bins in public areas, such as gardens, parks, shopping malls and offices should be made more readily available, to encourage the general public to recycle their resources, for better environmentally friendly living. This helps to increase the recycling rate, at not only the national rate, but also at the domestic and non-domestic rate. Encourage the use of 'Eco-smart' public transportation: The new policy can encourage the general public to better utilize the public transport, such as buses or trains over privatised cars. The public transportation produces less carbon emissions into the atmosphere. The general public will be advised to take other more environment-friendly modes of transportation and travel, such as by bicycle or walking, driverless cars, and vehicles that are powered by solar energy. Penalties: Penalties can be imposed on consumers who over-consume the energy that may be detrimental to the environment.
