2. Immigrants. 88% of Qatar's population consists of expats, making the local population as low as 12%. This is a flow since expats are moving to and from Doha daily, coming from all over the world. An increase of immigrants in the future would benefit the country, since every expat brought in is specialised in a field of work and is able to transmit their expertise or help improve this growing country. 3. Oil and natural gas. This is Qatar's main stock, which consists of 43% liquified natural gas and another 43% petroleum oils. These resources were found in Qatar in 1971 and is the third biggest natural gas resource in the world. This has been the main export in Qatar for years and it would be even more beneficial in the future if the oil prices came back up, since this would enrich Qatar's economy even more. ![Farmers market in rural Doha][1] This picture shows immigrants who are receiving the food imported from other countries.
