WATER Piracicaba, the city where I live, is very important for the water flows of São Paulo. We have here a river which drives water to the Cantareira system that supplies the city of São Paulo. The “Sistema Cantareira” is one of the biggest of the planet, it was built in 1960 to flows water to the city of São Paulo and for this the government of the state built many dams on the River Piracicaba basin. ![enter image description here][1] ![enter image description here][2] PEOPLE The flow of people in São Paulo is very intense. They live in a city and go to work in another city beside, so it’s an everyday moving forward and back. FOOD As the region I live is a monoculture of sugar cane, we do not have fruits either vegetables planted around, so we have a flow of this food in to our city.
