Stocks and flows 1. Flows: Tourists, non-immigrants, Information, revenue from tourism industry 2. Stocks: Building Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Art, cultural diversity, Established industries for employment opportunities. There are around 40 million visitors in New York City every year. These visitors spend money and contribute $40 Billion to the economy of NYC. This is a perfect example of how stocks of New York causes flow of people and economy. The stocks and flows are interrelated here. The stocks adapts to the flow, and flow causes to improve the stocks. In my opinion, refining stocks like - international theme public spaces and housing would create a positive impact to this kind of flow. [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14342199021911373.jpg
