The picture depicts a detached house in Stockholm, which is typical in Scandinavian countries in terms of material (timber) and form (mountain cabin). Basically this type of Nordic lodge is totally made of wood because these countries have a huge amount of forest areas and high quality timber materials. Sweden exports much wood every year. In 2015 the export of wood is 3.8 billion US dollars, ranking 10 of its top exported goods. I think this is a good example of material flows around the world : to export abundant resources and import what we need. [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14609159971706555.jpg
