The visible information on this picture is the colorful edifications and the geography which is a tall highland with lots of steps to walk through. 2. The first invisible information that you can extract by the picture is the historic value of the neighborhood. When you walk through it you can notice than a lot of the houses or buildings are very old and in some parts of the path they have a colonial old-fashioned design. “Las Peñas” is an emblematic neighborhood of Guayaquil, because is known as the place where the city was born. You can also notice a few small monuments or cannons in the higher parts of the steps. The second invisible information about “Las Peñas” is the people´s activities in this area. Early in the morning you can see people walking, jogging or just working out as a morning habit. Then at nights, there are plenty of bars where people often go to have a few beers, eat or listen live music. 3. People´s activities in the neighborhood can become an important piece of information. With this information you can think in different ideas of what to propose or do in the area. For example, during the morning you can sell breakfast and water or hydrating beverages for the people who are doing exercises. Also provide a resting cover area with a fresh ventilation (use of trees or vegetation) and clean air. During the night the concept changes. It’s about providing an interesting and diverse night life. You wouldn’t want to live near the bars, the residential part should be more private an away from the noise.
