Since Sweden is located in Scandinavia, there are less choices of food production here. Sweden relies on food imports from other countries. The picture shows a Swedish cucumber(but actually most vegetables and fruits here are imported) and a bottle of Italian vinegar. The food flow among Europe countries is quite normal. In Lapland, northern Sweden, there is a small city built for the iron mine call Kiruna. A huge amount of iron or steel or ores are exported to nearby countries like Norway each year. In 2015 the export of iron and steel was 5.6 billion US dollars, ranking the seventh in top exports. They also become an essential construction material for this country, which becomes a part of its stock. Recently a large amount of refugees coming to Sweden, trying to become a part of the community. Some of them make it to find a job and a residence, but one can see homeless people on the streets. Will they settle down to a stock of the city? Or do they have to continue to flow in the future? No one knows it. Fortunately apart from those who are forced to another countries, there are also people seeking for a better life of more opportunities coming in all the time. The picture shows four international students in my corridor(including me:). We come here for high quality education and have almost become a part of the community(although I have to 'flow' back home at the end of June) Water also plays an important role in the development of this city because Sweden has a long coastline. The water in the oceans provides fresh water for daily life as well as precise hydraulic energy, which is used or stored as the stock of the country. Apart from that, ferries shift people and goods from and to Sweden everyday, contributing significantly to its transportation and tourism. ![food][1] ![material][2] ![people][3]![water][4] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14609886685776842.jpg [2]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14609886796428527.jpg [3]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14609886904700391.jpg [4]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14609888929661316.jpg
