The construction is from reinforced concrete slab floors with reinforced concrete columns and beams between each floor. A glass curtain wall will form the cladding covered in aluminium sheets that form the outside design of the building. Concrete is being used instead of steel because it is a mid-rise building and cheaper to build in reinforced concrete. The concrete is sourced locally within a 50km radius. The aluminium is mined in Australia and is transported across the country. The main structure of the building materials is made from Australian products. Interior products such as fittings, lifts and shafts are imported from countries such as America and Germany that have years of experience and knowledge of producing these top quality products.
