I participated on the construction of this building so I can say that its structure is conformed by an structure of steel, with a covering with reinforced concrete. This is a mixed structure utilized to diminished the weight of the building by putting less concrete on the structure. The materials used for the construction of this building are imported the north hemisphere so the prices of the construction are really high. It would be convenient to utilice more organic materials as guadua (a plant that grows in Colombia who comes from the same species as bamboo), who has prove to have a very good behavior under charges.
