We had gone to Jakarta to see how bamboo, which is a locally available material in Indonesia, was being used. Here the locally available bamboo is used as a scaffolding during the construction - whereas everything else - steel, concrete and even the construction safety net are global symbols of any construction site. This photograph if not for the bamboo scaffolding, could be a photograph taken in any part of the world.
