While we do not need to import materials, we do import scaffolding, cranes, pumps, formwork and molds, in order to bring these materials together. That's globalization. We need the instruments and machinery from other countries in order to build as they're not assembled here. ![enter image description here][1] However, those same imports bring trouble, because if repairing is needed those parts cannot be found here (as of recently) and have to be imported as well, making an impact in the overall budget of said construction, and in the way a worker does their work, as can be seen in the next picture where not even a scaffolding was found in time, nor was a concrete pump, as those are actually scarce. ![enter image description here][2] Venezuela also produces steel, and used to be a material exported to other countries.
