The building in first shot was made with traditional materials and construction systems, the stone like raw. This material was the most used in antique buildings. However, recently other materials like glass and steel are more commons. In this city big new office buildings are been built with this materials. The new buildings are like a window display, on the other hand the stone buildings only permits seeing the inside through the little windows. In conclusion, I chose this picture because it confronts two really different styles, materials and techniques. It shows how the architecture has been changing with the influence of new knowledges.
