They are pursuing LEED certification on the building (I'm not sure what level, Silver or Gold probably) and an easy credit to get is sourcing materials locally (within 500 miles by LEED standard I believe). I can't say definitively what they'll purchase locally, but it's probably mostly wood (if any), steel and concrete. Possibly glass and interiors like drywall (for base building stuff). They also only used fill dirt from the remains of the debris on site (which is as local as you can get). In terms of equipment (like main HVAC and Electrical gear), that stuff is only manufactured by a small handful of people and will most likely be shipped in from far away perhaps from the Dakotas. ![enter image description here][1] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14140811436869377.jpg
