I choose this example because this building reflect construction methods that are followed at long time. The material to be used in its construction: reinforced concrete,steel,glass,aluminium,stone. Aleppo is known with stone as master material (high quality), the raw materials of concrete and stone may come from several quarries near the city. In Syria, there are several factories that cover all local needs of cement, and sometimes steel in my country is low quality.
