I found this task a challenge. This is a view from a suburban area in Oslo, Norway. As you can see, the houses are made of timber and the houses are surrounded by trees. A typical example of local material, or at least national materials, in use. The asphalt is a bi-product from the oil and gas industry, which is Norway's main industries. The basis for the houses is usually made from reinforced concrete. The iron used in the steel is produced in Norway, and the concrete is also produced in Norway. The glass windows and the isolation material is also, to my knowledge, made by local materials. [2]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14168601554231541.jpg
