This image shows the construction of an apartment complex in the town centre area known as Takapuna. The thirty storey building is to be a luxury skyscraper for those who can afford it, with stunning views of the flat surrounding landscape and beautiful beaches and ocean. The material used to contract the building is concrete, steel and glass. Much of New Zealand's concrete is created here as there is a strong abundance of sand available.
