*This picture shows the construction site of the Shanghai International Financial Center (IFC) in July/August 2010.* Much concrete, steel and glass (China as the world's biggest importer of glass in 2012) are used, but also equipment for heating, cooling and air-conditioning, as well as sanitary installations.
