[1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14135519205721701.jpg This is a picture I took at the new Quanzhou Railway Station, a great example of new architecture appearing in China, respecting local methods of construction of "brick to stone" and traditional Minnan style and architecture while blending it with modern practices inspired by Western countries. Concrete, glass, steel and ceramic were the materials used in this structure, and while China can produce some if not all of these materials, they still rely on imports from Europe for higher quality materials, Fujian being one the regions in China with the major number of imports of stone, granite and marble as well as the aforementioned materials.
