![combined use of materials][1] In this picture you can see a new house in Rijswijk that is still under contruction. The owner has chosen for a combination of materials from different parts of the world: Tropical wood is used for the garage and windows. This wood has a sustainabillity certificate (this is required). Natural stone is used to finish and decorate a part of the house. This material is imported from Italy. The solar cells on the roof are made in Europe. Other materials like cement, glass and steel are made in Europe.
