This photo was taken in a capital of a state of Brazil. This corporate building is a recent construction of the city, and we can notice the architectural influences coming from abroad, such as the use of metal frame and glass as total closure of the building, without the use of common masonry. The evolution of the construction and its globalization enabled materials previously used only for certain purposes could be used in various other ways. Glass, for example, first made by the Romans, then by the French and perfected by the British, is very present in current construction material. Besides serving primarily as frames, currently with the evolution of this material, its functioning and its manufacturing there is the possibility of also using it as closure, replacing the brickwork, blocks or concrete. Moreover, from its modernization, it becomes very effective, enabling pleasant temperatures inside the building, thus reducing the use of artificial lighting and ventilation, and contribute to the aesthetics of the building.
