This construction site is located in the southeast of Stockholm. It is three residential houses which will also house a preschool in one of the buildings. The project falls into the category of “infill projects” which is quite common in Stockholm today in order to make the urban situation denser. I was rather positively surprised to find that a lot of the materials originated in Sweden. E.g. Isolation material (Podrän) and reinforcement bars. Construction cranes and diggers seem to originate from Sweden and Germany. Workers are usually from Sweden, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, and Rumania. Stones like granite etc. are usually from China in order to keep the costs low. [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14138041697505246.jpg
