Our project in Shanghai Hongqiao is designed by Foster+Partners. Since our building aims to achieve the Green Buildings Standard and Golden LEED Level, a brand new international design is needed. Our designing team in London especially dedicate themselves in research of construction materials. In the photo, we can see the LOW-E glasses which was transported from Shenyang, China and the facade solar shading in champagne colour made by aluminium. The material and design helps reduce cooling energy consumption and carbon emissions. Natural ventilation through curtain wall exchangers is also available. The steels and other aluminium panels are transported from other provinces in China. We have local Chinese workers to accomplish the building. So it is such a building with avant-garde ideas and high-qualified producing skills for materials from all over the globe.
