The floor is presented as a landscape of slabs of rough-hewn Stone. It is something to point out that this rocky floor is presented in such a building, the Geological Research Centre, when obviously the geological typical Dutch Landscape is formed by sand, gravel and arable flat land, which are some of the most important natural sources among others. The lack of rocks and stones for the construction has always made necessary the importation from other countries of this kind of materials. We can find this type of Stone in another countries like Spain. This fact shows the power of these cities that are easily connected to a big harbor like the one in Rotterdam, where the construction materials that are not available in the country and can be imported without too many problems. Of course this reachability does not make the fact justified, since the use of the local available resources is something we must start to take care about. ![TNO BUILDING][1] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14177788733525346.jpg
