In this photo, the visible information is: - two major city avenues connected and integrated with one of the main city bus stations - a small regional hospital - a small shopping mal - a public park - traffic lights - several medium size residential buildings The two invisible informations chosen are: - Travel Pattern: the daily dense flow of people coming in the morning from external neighborhoods to the city central area, throughout this avenues and the buses lines, where most corporate buildings are located. - Lifestyle: the little mall becomes a hub of communication and integration, especially on the weekends, where people from surroundings areas visit it seeking entertainment. The travel pattern of this region can be used and transformed in knowledge because of its deep impact on the city´s quality of living. Government can use this information to better integrate transportation systems, making easier to its inhabitants to move from external to central areas in a daily basis. Currently, huge traffic jams occur in the morning and in the rush hour.
