![enter image description here][1] *Panoramic view of the Potsdamer Platz area in Berlin, Germany* **Visible information** The urban elements that can be seen in this photo are as following: **a)** Buildings that are mostly mixed-use buildings. **b)** One of the main streets is Stresemannstrasse that allows connectivity and mobility into this area. **c)** Green areas such as parks used for recreational purposes. **Invisible information** The invisible information that can be extracted out of the visible information of this photo is as follows: **a) Mobility:** it is clear in the picture that main and side streets are not visible. If these urban elements could be seen, we as urban planners would be able to provide better solutions for connectivity and mobility within the city and contribute to the planning of a more liveable urban space. If this information could be visible, it could be possible to assign different functions to the urban spaces. **b) Building uses:** if we could identify the building uses through this photo, we could be able to plan the urban spaces in a more sustainable way by assigning more and/or less density and mobility to the urban spaces where most needed.
