![Carlos Gomes Street - Salvador - Brazil][1] [1]: http://s27.postimg.org/wpgx36ewj/2_de_julho.jpg **Description of the visible** This particular area of the city center is well know for its commercial activity, that includes stores and street vendors at a impressive amount. **Invisible information** There are two aspects of this picture that are invisible and yet, intrinsically characteristic to the area that it belongs: The first one is directly related to the commerce activity, when is past 19pm and all the stores are closed and the street vendors return to their homes, this area becomes a huge desert in the core of the city, and its commonly occupied for the prostitutes, in the search of their clients that oftenly drive by. Also, its invisible to us the constantly growing decadence of the city center and its commercial activity, manly because of the huge malls that had been built in the last few decades at the north part of the city. **Analisys** In my opinion, in the case of the area that is pictured above, we could use those invisible informations to develop alternate occupations for the buildings and the public spaces around them that are not limited by the usual 8am-19pm commercial hours and by doing that, we could achieve a more liveable situation.
