The second photo is where I work - Av. Paulista - São Paulo. We can see many buldings and no houses. The photos show a different scenario from where people live and where they work here in Brazil. That's why transportation is a very important theme here. People takes 2 hours to get to their jobs, because they are not able to buy an appartment near their jobs, because the demand for housing is high in this area. So we can conclude that property speculation, especially in big cities, pushes property prices, and therefore rents, up.
