This picture present a simple view of buildings in the city at night. Some of them have no light on, some others have some rooms lighted. The street lamp is on. The best observers could say where this pic has been taken in recognizing the land mark in the back ground. What can we identify as interesting informations ? : - Make the difference between office space and accommodation. (the building in the foreground has strictly no light on at this time, it should be an office building) - We can identify the occupied apartments and those which are vacant. - In following the evolution in the time, we can identify the different kind of room : the living rooms, the kitchens, the bedrooms (each of these kind are lighted at the different time following the peoples life). - It's less interesting, but funny, we can see the TV antenna on roofs directed to the transmitter. The light on/off information for each room could be a good indication to know better the occupation of the building. This information could be important for many things, for example the energy consumption, the average schedule of people,... As for the rest of this kind of informations collected from urban photography, we could ask the question about how it is intrusive in the privacy of people.
