At the back we see more light in the sky, this is coming from the harbour of Rotterdam and its petrochemical industry. Next to the river we see quite a few buildings that have lights on inside. Invisible information: 1. Rotterdam has one of the biggest harbours in the world. This harbour has a 24/7 function as can be seen from the picture. (Taken at night, but still a lot of activity on the horizon). 2. There are quite some housing blocks and towers next to the river, this is visible from the lights that are still on. Offices in The Netherlands close mostly at the beginning of the evening (some exceptions there), and thus will be dark during this hour. When we take data from all the housing stock in rotterdam and how it is situated and create knowledge out of it, we can see if there is enough mix of work and living and how we can make it better to avoid too much traffic during rush hour.
