1. Right hand side - Self constructed houses/buildings with commercial services at the street level, on one of this buildings you can see a wooden/metal temporary house in the last floor, electric post and cables and cars park along the street. Middle - Green buffer park with big trees separating the street from the houses in the right, a few tricycles park along the street. Left hand side - Different type of houses "condominium" (architects, engineers and builders were involved in the development of this project), separated from the its' surroundings by a a planted fence and topped up with security razor wire with electricity. 2. The tricycles are part of a clandestine self organized network of "private" public transportation that is used to link to the city's integrated transport system SITP - TRANSMILENIO it connects people to areas where the government still does not provide transportation. This clandestine networks exist all over the city, people build tricycles, use family cars and taxis as a shared transportation system that runs in small circuits from the SITP - TRANSMILENIO stations to areas/neighborhoods where the service is not provided yet. The security measures taken by the condominium highlight the insecurity of the area or the fear that the people in the condominium have towards the neighboring self-constructed neighborhood. It also highlights the difference between the two communities. 3. Detecting the location of the tricycle groupings (unofficial transportation stop) and the flux of people around it could help the administration detect and prioritize future public transportation extensions.
