Uploaded on 2014-12-09 by TcmHayles
• Large amount of parked vehicles in parking spaces • Minimal Traffic, despite the amount of parked vehicles • Vendors peddling goods on the street • People moving on the streets • Commercial business properties 2. Ques 2 - invisible information • Traffic flow seems to be affected by time of day, so even though there are a lot of parked cars the temporal nature of the traffic (i.e. the time of day) causes the traffic to be at a low peak. • The parked vehicles may not necessarily be parked to utilize those businesses that they are parked close to. 3. Ques 3 - describe how this invisible information can become knowledge and contribute to the planning of a more liveable urban space • This can be used to plan for parking garages or parking spaces throughout the city to facilitate the needs of the inhabitants. Secondly, can systems be put in place to ensure that the businesses on that street have parking specifically for their customers, this way persons visiting other streets and businesses do not have to park on that street ![enter image description here][1] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14181650851643887.jpg
