In this image of lower Mokotów area we can extract two sets of information: - the land use, what is on it and how it is used - housing density expanding on the first idea: the plots in the foreground have been cleared for construction. Soon land will see other usage than before. Left and right of the plots we see the built environment how it is prevalent on the site. I took the picture out of the 10th floor window of a new office building. By mapping and defining the land use and the usage parameters of the surrounding built environment we could determine the optimal new usage and density, define the best walkways to the nearby public transportation node. Identify the required mix of usage to enliven the neighborhood. Taking the barren spot of desolate warehouse land and make it to some lively place where work and living are intertwined. ![view from the 10th floor office][1] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14145982267721272.jpg
