This is a big avenue in México City, it is call Insurgentes. The picture is a Little blur because of the dust in the Windows. The image shows a strange moment when there is no much traffic in the avenue. From the buildings, you can say that this area isn’t a residential one, all the structures are offices and the traffic or the lack of it, responses to that, to a specific time when everyone is working. This picture was taken around 11pm if you add seven or eight hours to the clock you’ll have a impossible road full of people leaving theirs jobs. In addition, this is the geographic center of the city and this avenue starts in the south and goes to the north so not only the people that works or live nearby transit it. You can see the specific line for the metrobús, a big bus but with a line for itself which make it faster than the normal ones. A great idea, but it was constructed about 6 years ago, and that shows the interest that moves the politics in Mexico. We have a very effective system called ‘Trolebús’ that is based on electricity. In a city so polluted we are urge to this kind of solutions. Mexico City has many faces, the one that is shown in the picture make visible the priorities of public politics: infrastructure and specially, the appearance of the streets.
