Bosphorus in one of the busiest water channel in the world, both in commercial shipping and in people every day transportation terms. It's always fascinating to follow it's everyday crazy routine. This picture - despite taken from far away - shows how many ships are in the same square at the same time. This ship traffic is a **visible information** for us. We can record how many commercial ships pass Bosphorus every day from Marmara Sea to the Black Sea and back. We can record how many local boats travel from European to Asian side and back with its passangers. And we can record touristic boats as well as yahcts of locals. Analising these records and datas we can have our **invisible information**. Having patterns of travel behaviours we can understand how people travel over Bosphorus on everyday basis, including - time, directions, reasons, age groups, and finally try to provide better transportation service for them in such a limited and busy space as Bosphorus is. We can mange the transportation flows. But also will help to detect urban dinamycs. As the water transportation flow is connected with activiries at the land where the boats comes to. These places can be also smartly managed for easiest and most comfortable experience. ![Istanbul Bosphorus traffic][1]
