The photo not only highlights the excessive outflow of vehicular movement but also highlights the almost negligible inflow even though this happens to be one of the busiest areas in town. This is due to the fact that it falls on one of the government holidays corresponding with the National Day of U.A.E which falls on 02nd December 2014. The smooth flow of traffic which occurs in this area shows an efficient planning system for managing transportation that exists in the country. We can also note that almost all the vehicles on the street are four-wheelers and there is a conspicuous absence of two wheelers. This is common through-out the country which has a high standard of living. Two wheelers are only used in low numbers and by business establishments foe delivery of goods and services To the right of the structure shown in the picture exists a building which facilitates parking for the vehicles that accumulate due to the commercial and business activities that take place in the area. So while planning the transportation system we would have to incorporate the roadways so as to facilitate the smooth and efficient running of four wheeled vehicles and an analysis of the peak traffic timings and their corresponding vehicular content and direction of flow, a system for the same can be formulated to address the issues currently faced.
