The Visible information available is as follows; 1. It is a city dominated by buildings 2. It is close to the sea 3. Parks and outdoor spaces are provided in various places throughout the city. 4. Transportation is via large roads and flyovers 5. The built environment is a mix of mid and high rise buildings, all on seperate allotments The invisible information that can be extracted from the above are as follows; 1. It is heavily populated 2. There seems to have been no cohesive plan for the development of the city, as most buildings are built on a single site with no relationship to neighbours. Point 2 above can contribute to the planning of a more livable urban space by recognising the lack of cohesion between building sites and the fact that there are a lot of low to mid rise buildings within the city fabric. Maybe by building fewer larger, higher buildings more open space could be worked into the city, or alternatively a larger scale planning approach could incorporate more green space and parks at elevated levels throughout the development. ![enter image description here][1] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14133701853923821.jpg
