It is visible that the square is in a good condition as it was renovated recently. It is a station of the new metro line crossing the capital of Hungary. The buildings, the "mushroom" as we call it in the middle, the station, the pedestrians, the trees and the green areas are visible. But the metro line under the surface is invisible. The interesting fact about this square is that there are three types of public transport. There is a tram station, also two bus stations (one for buses connecting the square with the city centre, and a terminal for the arriving buses from the suburbs) and the new metro station. In addition in the rush hours the car traffic is also significant. As my parents live in the suburbs I have to commute to and from Budapest every week. I believe that with an extended suburban metro/train line we would have a much faster and sustainable mode of transport. In this case we would get rid of the old, polluting buses, which many times consume people time by standing in a traffic jam.
