There is similar type of new housing all around with clothes hung to dry on the roof tops. 2. There is green cover to the left of the picture. **What is invisible?** 3. The green cover is a park, which was a lake before, in the middle of the city. 4. These are the homes of traditional washermen who used live around the lake. They offer laundry service to homes, offices and hotels and hospitals. 5. As the city grew around the lake, the streams connecting to the lake became drains and the lake dried up. But the washermen did not move from their traditional homes. 6. Instead now they use municipal water to wash clothes and are actually doing very well financially, as can be seen from the new constructions. Despite adversity like loss of livelihood due to change in climatic conditions etc human beings thrive in cities. We always find an alternate way of life.
