[1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/1416976640967283.jpg I took this photo on the Pattaya River in Bangkok at the stop N19. The visible information seen in this photo is; - The dock and entrance to the market on the right - The housing visible in the distance - And lastly the river boat full of people From this invisible information we can extract invisible knowledge. 1) We can collect data from how many people use the boat and where they go. 2) We can gather data from how many people visit the market from their houses. I will focus on number 1). This invisible information can be gathered and become important knowledge that can contribute to a more livable urban city or space. The riverboats are constantly full especially during tourist seasons; they provide transport to 33 stops, which go from Pakkret to Rat burana. Many times boats are full and passengers have to wait for another one or two boats until they can embark. Future planners can create a more livable city if they use this data knowledge. City planners can organize how many boats should be put on each stop so that people can get to their destination faster and have a more efficient transport system. People may get home to their families or work on time in the future instead of being late.
