Seoul's Times Square Mega Mall
FC-01x Future Cities (1st Run) - Exercise 1 : "Making the Invisible - Visible"

No where is high-culture more apparent in Seoul than in malls, where consumerism is at its highest. How people navigate through malls is determined primarily by its layout (and what they're looking for, because stores tend to be grouped). The location of a store can tell you a lot about it's popularity ... and prices. The phrase "location, location, location" comes to mind, because the best urban spaces are the ones where the most useful features (say, ready-made treats) are located at junctures where people have to pass (like the escalators pictured here). Places for relaxation (on the left of the picture) tend to be out of the way (far from the escalators), but overlooking the whole mall. [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/141690526739536.jpg
