In the villages of Spain there is a day of the week that downtown streets are filled with shops. It is this day when people who live in the countryside come out of their daily routine and interact with the city. 6 years ago it was proposed by the City Hall to move the location of this market from the linear pathway (in red in the plan) to an area outside the center (rectangle marked in blue), which is an uninhabited open esplanade. This proposal, which was initially for troubleshoot downtown traffic congestion on a business day, it has been finally rejected and have returned to the market in the streets, near downtown and improving accessibility for older people. The Spanish society (at least in southern Spain) celebrates the market day as a day when all weekly commodity purchases are made and it is a day where all the neighbors meet, chat and feel part of society, some of them who live far away in the countryside, they see this day as a information day, they live daily excluded from technological advances that have been around for many years in our society and we have already adapted (mobile phone, Internet ... etc) The invisible part that I want to make visible in the photos and to improve the city of the future is that we realize that a problem such as traffic and parking away from the city center have been insufficient and finally the walk day, entertainment and shopping in the downtown streets has been imposed. The future society should not only look for efficiency in monetary transactions and business, must also take care about the social and cultural needs of a city. On the other hand, It is necessary to create shaded areas on the streets for these social relations, I propose a removable system on these streets because one day a week become the sites of relationship. ![market day\]\[1\ ![market street][1] ![city plan][2] ![market square][3] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14139899471164746.jpg [2]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14139899664766042.jpg [3]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14139900012938683.jpg
