The information that we can get from this picture is how pedestrian flows, besides the fact that not a single building is open (8:26pm in the picture), come together to configure the space in such a way that the entire plaza (in this case) become a dangerous place to walk or stay by. Analysing pedestrian flows in piazzas or parks in Quito, one can figure out how the use and protection of their perimeter (mainly) could be related to a lack of security inside such spaces.
