On the street where I live in São Sebastião de Lagoa de Roca, a small town in the interior of northeastern Brazil, which is undergoing an accelerated and disorganized process of urbanization , there are several information that could be used to build a more habitable area. In the visible information can mention: The low buildings (not more than two floors), uneven pavement, the little amount of street lights and trees, the sunny weather, the high luminosity of the day, as to the ground perceive a declination the landscape center and in the other points a flat surface and etc. In the invisible information would be two examples: There are some commercial outlets (each of the metal gates is one of the establishments - closed because of the timetable). This indicates that at certain times there are many people transiting the street. And judging by the types of establishments (market, restaurant, clothing stores, among others), it is expected that the public is quite varied, which may indicate a central region. Furthermore it can be noticed that the street is relatively narrow and the points are next from others what suggests that displacement of these people are made by walking. To transform these invisible information into knowledge is necessary the watchful eyes of the people, that can make connections with other information and thus build knowledge. Regarding the second example of invisible information we could have a more livable place with the knowledge. For example knowing of the number of people that passes by this place some measures could be taken as: Expand and regulate sidewalks, provide more lighting and trees and regulates the paving of the street.
