**The visible information:** Is a big square with slope covered with brick. In the first plane there are some bollards. The buildings that surround the square are in some cases "palazzi signorili". In the center there is the Gaia's Fountain. Behind the square is visible the Cathedral Tower. Also there are some of the entrances to the Square. **The invisible information:** - The square is the main **pluvial collector** of the city. Because of its natural slope the area has been historically used to collected rainfall water to be reused. - **A highly liveable urban space**. Because the photo was taken on Sunday at early morning the square is empty. But the reality is totally different, during the day and in the evening the square is always crowded of people, most of them seated in the square. This is because of sloping, that shape comfortable seats. This urban space is a great place to meeting, enjoy and stay, that locals appropriated it. **Knowledge from this liveable urban space:** This space naturally became a liveable urban space, from the bottom up, inhabitants were empowered of it. Taking this succesful example into account we can contribute to urban planning. Designing from de bottom up, considering the needs of people from an urban open space. Sometimes they just expect a good place to seat, to stay and to meet locals, not only nice squares that looks good from the air, but without any use or live. ![ingrese la descripciĆ³n de la imagen aquĆ][1] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14176208494495921.jpg
