Water is a most important flow because the Castle in the centre of the area was accessible by river. Today water is most important due to the risk of flooding. This could change in the future due to the climate causing rising water levels. People are most important as both a stock and a flow. The stock of people are the residents who bring finances and culture to the area. The flow of people are tourists who are important for bringing outside finances to the area. In the future, accommodation is needed for people who want to establish themselves as stock in the area. Equally, in the future transport is important to enable tourists to travel to and from the area. Finances are a most important flow because it enables people to feed themselves, to travel to work, and maintain a standard of living. Finances could change in the future as more finances flow into the area. It is important to ensure these finances are distributed through the stock of people, and that accommodation remains affordable to people. I have uploaded these two photographs as references to the stocks and flows I have selected. The first photograph references water in particular, as it is the historical bridge over the river. Both photographs reference people and finances. People flow to and from Lewes to watch the Bonfire celebrations, spending finances on both preparations for the celebration and spectators spending finances on the night of the Bonfire. ![Bonfire Celebrations on Cliffe Bridge over the River Ouse][1] ![Lewes Borough Bonfire Society March][2] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14163495531898982.png [2]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14163498321127329.jpg
