The image shows a sector in the city of Buenos Aires that has been developed since the 90s: Puerto Madero. The building is a University (a stock), as it has a library and is the place where knowledge is produced. Is is also a heritage building (stock) as it was at the beginning of the 20th century the dock of the harbor. Students, teachers or different people from all the metropolitan area that go there every day to study or to investigate or to congresses (flow). The water in the dock (a stock) as it is a place for tourism with restaurants, shops and so on. It is in constant movement (flow). Electricity, water, waste, food, information are all flows of resources in the area. The study of the reduction of waste and energy resources made through investigation in the university could benefit the area and on top teach students about the need of conscience of thinking in a more sustainable city with small daily actions.
