For this reason I have chosen the three following flows: People, land and food. **People**: Rotterdam is a really well-known international city with a huge expat community. Dutch people normally prefer to live in other cities like Utrecth or Amsterdam, or at least not in the center or Rotterdam. Due to the huge amount of international offices there is a really important flow of business people coming and leaving everyday, lot of students who come to study in the business schools for a year or the full master, interns or just graduated people who find kind of easy a job here. But in general, these people know that their time in Rotterdam is going to be short. Another important aspect of the people flow is the fact that The Netherlands is a really small country with a really good train infrastructure. Furthermore, offices pay for commuting. For this reason, there are a lot of people who commute everyday, since the renting in Rotterdam is cheaper than in other cities of the country. as an example, a room in rotterdam is around 350 euros, meanwhile in Amsterdam is around 600. **Land**: The Netherlands is a country where the land can´t be a stock, Currently we are living in 2 meters below sea level. Dams and canals have a really important rol. But this is never ending. An example is all the new streets that appear after the Rotterdam Blizt, due to the amount of debris into the canals. Recently, for the new Rotterdam central station, part of a canal was removed in order to place a new bike and car parking place. It also happens with entire cities, like Lelystad or Almere. Thanks to the dams, new cities were gained to the sea. ![enter image description here][1] **Food**: The Netherlands doesn´t have a lot of food culture. This is a fact. Also, the climate conditions are not the best. That makes an important demand of food from other countries. Also, the amount of international people increases this demand, with larger small shops of all the parts of the World. I really think it´s difficult to change the two first flows. About the third one, it could be useful to have a really good rain collector and and big amount of greenhouses (not only for flowers) to generate more food in the country to reduce the flow of food and therefore the CO2 and more waste of energy. The rain collectors would help to cheapen the cost of the greenhouses. [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/141797626433592.jpg
