People: There is a flow of people into the city everyday because of the high rate of rural-urban migration (people looking for greener pastures). This increases creation of slum The stock of people in the area is low compared to its flow Food: Food flows into the city from its territory and even far states. Less than 30% of food is stock in this city. There is need to encourage agriculture, as this will reduce cost of living in the city Land: Recently reclamation of land was done as the Atlantic ocean was eroding lagos city. This birthed the development of a new city called the Eko Atlantic City. This new stock of land has resulted in changing the shape of the city.
