1. The most important stocks and flows entering, staying in and eventually leaving this area are: a) People, b) Commercial Goods, c) Private Vehicles. 2. Demonstrating the components through examples: a) The People component can further be segregated into two major divisions of i) Consumers – people who visit the market to shop/eat/leisure via Public/Private Transport and ii) Providers – people who owns/works in establishments/shops/restaurants and majorly resides within the market premises. Thus clearly can identify that the consumers are Flow here, whereas the Providers are Stock. b) The Commercial Goods sold in the market demonstrates a typical model of Stocks and Flows, where the goods (majorly fabric, apparels & accessories) are brought in from various parts of India and the World to be sold here. c) Private Vehicles also plays an important role apart from the ‘Violet line Delhi Metro’ to pool in huge population into the area. These private vehicles are parked both on approved and illegal parking areas for long duration demonstrating the Stocks and the inbound/outbound traffic demonstrates the Flow. 3. How these stocks and flows could change in the future for the benefit? With the advent of online shopping portals and its rising preference, we can envisage a flip in the above demonstrated examples. In today's model the consumer/goods moves towards the market, whereas the next generation model (read online shopping) would not draw people out but make goods reach them. The other effects to such practice would lead to less traffic and parking in the market. Hence an overall change in the Stocks and Flows of the market place could be predicted. ![Stocks & Flows: One of the busiest commercial market in South Delhi][2] [2]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14159484795254596.jpg
