It is high time they should prepare the present young generation to the future impending realities. Massive investment is needed in solar power to enable their energy needs. Kuwait sometimes imports gas to produce electricity. Almost all the houses are air conditioned. Life style is very luxurious. No local uses the public transport buses or taxies. Every household has multiple cars and at least one expat driver to cater for their commuting needs. Roads are usually jammed in peak hours reflecting poor planning and living at more than sustainable limits. Electricity and fuel prices are lowest. There is no income tax. No sales tax. Health is heavily subsidized. Unless they go in for a paradigm shift in their lifestyle and income from just petroleum, this nation is in a danger of experiencing multiple shocks.
